Fulham interested in M’Baye Niang

Fulham are reportedly interested in bringing French youngster M’Baye Niang according to reports in Italy. The striker currently plies his trade for Italian giants AC Milan.

The 18-year old is very highly rated at the San Siro, however, due to the arrival of Kaka and Alessandro Matri to the club this summer, there might be limited opportunities in the first team for the Frenchman. It is believed that Milan are ready to let the youngster leave the club on loan in order for his development.

Dutch defender Urby Emanuelson made a move from the San Siro to Fulham in January last season and a similar loan move for Niang has been touted.

According to Sportmediaset, Italian Serie A sides Sampdoria and Genoa will also provide competition to Fulham for Niang’s signature.

Niang joined AC Milan from French side Caen last season and became the second youngest goalscorer in the club’s history after scoring his first goal for the club at the age of 17 years and 350 days in their Coppa Italia match against Reggina last season. However, the youngster is yet to find the net for Milan in the Serie A.
