There is a rather large Fusa interest as the teams gear up for the Super Regionals (the last stop before Omaha).

Arizona at UNC: Hoping my boys can travel all that way and take out the Tar Heels.

Auburn at Coastal Carolina. @astroevan Good luck to Coastal, and feel free to smack around an SEC team! You know we will have to come up w/some bet if we both advance

    Florida State at Oregon State
@MicahMan The Noles couldn’t have to travel to a more remote location then Corvallis (my Sis,Bro-n-Law, niece all OSU alumni). Pretty sure the route they’ll take is fly to Portland and then bus it for a couple hours to a small town amongst Pine Trees.

    Miami at Louisville
    Murray State at Duke
@jumpkutz James I know you follow all things Louisville, hope they take down the Canes, but am I wrong that you went to Murray State? Even if you didn’t, any team beating Puke ‘er Duke is a good thing!!

There’s a couple of layers here for me. My folks met while attending Auburn. My older sister is also an alum. And until I decided to study marine science, I was fully intent on attending myself. So the silver lining here is that one of the schools that I root for will be in Omaha.

Coastal has been rolling downhill recently, winning 21 straight games since April 22. It’s been fun following them and I know it’ll probably end sooner than I would like, but I’m really hope for at least a handful more.

Auburn will be tough on the plains. They got the #4 national seed and I’ve read some things that said they a bit underrated. (Coastal is seeded #13 but I will argue that they should have gotten a top 8 seeding, which would have allowed them to host their own super regional. But, alas.) This will probably be CCU’s toughest series and I have no idea how it will play out. I am excited though and will be tuned in to see.

BTW @SoCalJoe , I still have my t-shirt from our last wager. It’s getting a little worn though so I’ll definitely take you up on a replacement.

@astroevan Didn’t know of your Auburn connection, but I’m sure you’re happy making short work of the Tigers and advancing to Omaha. Off topic, even if worn , if that shirt still fits, God Bless :D

Arizona just showed massive heart by tying it up w/Carolina today. It’s utter BS that ESPN has dictated when these games are played, because the Cats have had to play at 9am Tucson time. Asking kids to try and sleep at 10 pm Chapel Hill time when it’s 7 pm at home, and then to get up at 5 am to play a 9 am is damn near trying to fix the outcome. No surprise we got destroyed the first game, but to come back and get the W today showed so much character. One last 9am game mañana to determine who goes to Omaha.

Arizona is definitely getting screwed on the travel and game times. Congrats to pulling it out today. Your reward? How about another 12 EDT start time tomorrow?

I’m so excited CCU is going back to Omaha for the first time since they won it all in 2016. The pitching has completely earned it. What a run the team has been on.
