Soccer Scarfs

    Doing some more digging through old boxes. Attached is a pic of primarily soccer related scarfs I've collected through the years during travels and living abroad. Mainly national teams, club teams, and one off matches I attended. One wonders why Panama would have a scarf, one could also wonder why a guy in Houston owns 22+ scarfs. We need a scarf about once a year here so I would be into my 70's before I wore each of them. Funny (or not so funny) thing is, I can't find my plain Fulham scarf. Hopefully it turns up somewhere.

    Couple cool ones: Hungary, Holland, Sparta Praha, Bohemian (Dublin), USA v Japan W (Gold Medal Match London), Fulham v Basel/Juve, Ireland v Brazil (@Emirates) & Northern Ireland. Not so cool was USA v England at Wembley where we got smoked and the Dynamo who ended dead last this year.

    I've just got two -- and like Sully, they're more for decoration than wear.
    number one is my Member's scarf from a years back. It's on display pretty much full time
    number two is very special to me: when the hatters went from black & white to a primarily orange kit, my former mother-in-law knitted me one in the "new" colors -- pretty much unique.

    None of the ones in that pic are as valuable as your second one amigo.

    Meanwhile temperatures dipped here in the Northeast this past week and we were trying to put off turning on our heat for one more day. On Friday, my son saw me with my Fulham scarf around my neck and he asked "Fulham playing today?" I said "No. I'm cold."
