I guess all that can be said is I'm glad it wasn't me...

 

What's the scoop?? I hope the explanation comes close to as good as the pictures.

 

Been skiing all my life, and cannot comprehend how he got in that position on the lift (forget about the pants situation) without falling. Dtwondough, please tell us that for his family's sake that his identity has been kept out of the press. It could have been worse, the photographer could have been located on the other side (George from Seinfeld and "I just got out of the pool" scene comes to mind)

Update:

VAIL (AP). Authorities have been notified that the half naked skier captured in a photo dangling from a chairlift above the Vail Mountain run "Twigs and Berries" has come forward with plans for a lawsuit. Peter Shrivel, 48, of Dixsville Notch, NH has filed notice of intent naming Vail Resorts and White Moon Photography, LLC liable for an undisclosed amount. The suit will claim violation of privacy, according to the complaint filed by Shrivel's Attorney Miklienz Ballzarfrohzan.

Vail Resorts Spokeswoman Jenna Talia said they had not seen the suit and had no comment. In addition to the lawsuit, Shrivel is reportedly fielding spokesperson offers from BVD and Levitra.
