Jack Wilshere

wish I could commiserate on this but I missed the match and havent noticed this about Wilshere. Probably too distracted enjoying Wenger's hissy-fits.

 

I think it may be due to the English press playing him up as the national team's best and brightest new hope for the future. Since Lampard, Gerrard and Terry, et al, are getting a bit long in the tooth, they're grasping at any and every would be replacement, and seem to have hung their hat on this kid, among others. At least, that's my impression. For the life of me, I can't see what they see in him or Scott Parker. You'd think they were the second coming of Beckham, the way they gush about them sometimes.
