Having been through a few of these in the FL panhandle, someone is going to find out. Let's just hope it's not a levee town.

    NO/Gustav info site

For those of you who may have forgotten, the best source of Bayou area news: NOLA{dot}com

An excellent site anytime, indispensible in these circumstances.

    RE: RNC response

Watching the news on this on the networks, compared to katrina, my tongue and inside of my cheek is raw.

On the OTHER hand, Ray Nagin learned a LOT! And he put it all to use!

Well, Fox News didnt learn anything... they sent dickweed Geraldo down to cover it, again. Even AFTER the disgraceful coverage he did last time.

Why doesnt News Corp buy E! and send brainspace-vacant over there?

    RE: Gustav

NO dodged most of bullet but not out of woods, yet. Surge has waves topping dikes in various places, that's a problem unless wind shifts by about 2PM central because the earth on street sides is getting mushy and soggy.
Would'a thought they would have fixed that.. would be relatively cheap.
