George Will on football (the pointy, non-kicking version)

    George Will said it best: "Football represents the two worst aspects of America: spasms of violence punctuated by committe meetings."

    I laughed out loud when I read this. It has really grown difficult to be a football fan as the NFL is so self-important and tries to sell me the same things every 2-3 minutes.

    Steve I couldn't agree more. I have found the NFL, NBA, and MLB have all basically lost me as a fan for basically the same reason.

    BTW: I love your tagline! I have his book on my shelf. I guess I need to read it. :)
