    In my best horse track announcer voice;

    'Down the stretch they come, and it's Brown the Clown with a big lead, Hart-less in second, wait someone is making a late charge!!!...it's Daft Raf the Red, and he's flying towards the finish line, it's too close to call!!!...

    Before this thread changed its tone, the only two guys I saw who picked Hart as #1 were:

    SoCalJoe AND
    FulhamAg

    Well done those men. :banana: :banana: :banana:

    I am suprised that we're two days from Thanksgiving before the first firing. I think there'll be more to come -- as early as Monday, I'm thinking.

    Sorry about the orange, Matt; I just couldn't resist.

    Well, with Hughes floating around, I think there'll be tight sphincters all over England.

    Brown, Zola, McCarthy, and Megson come to mind.

    And speaking of Hughes, Citeh's board just fired the Prem manager with the fewest losses this season. How friggin' stupid is that?

    I read something today that City was 11 points ahead of last year's total for City through 17 games. Tied with the Spurs for the largest improvement from last season.

    I seem to remember saying Hughes would be sacked and people saying no. While he is a nice manager, he isn't a top class manager. When you have ambitions to reach the very top, you need a big name with a strong record as manager. This is why they have sacked Hughes. He isn't a big name and has only done well, not great, in the league.

    Of course Mancini never did shit for Inter so they will continue to suffer.

    I'm stunned by Hughes's sacking. They think an Italian with an attacking mentality is going to improve the team? Citeh's problems were defensive and arguably due to building a brand new back four over the transfer window.

    The league winner this year will have 6-10 losses and they fired the manager who had led the team to only 2 losses. Staggering!

    RE: Bolton Dumps Megson

    So my question is this: how much of that was based on Bolton's league position and how much by Hughes being available?

    25/75 would be my guess. Talk about pissing in the wind. If that were to happen, Bolton and Blackburn would have effectively just exchanged managers while weakening their sides from where they were before all of this started.
