According to Wikipedia, the top 3 normally get promoted...except, for some unexplained reason, THIS season, when only 2 will be promoted. This bears further investigation...

I'm really hoping for Bob to be the first American to coach in a top flight European league.

Not looking good, only drew to 18th place team. Le Harve is 3 points back in 4th, and on a worse GD.

Bradley and Le Havre were essentially eliminated from promotion today. They won 3-1 but Metz (the team in third) has won their last two. Metz is now sitting three points ahead of Le Havre with a better goal differential (+6) with one match to go.

Give the man a full campaign and a transfer or four and Le Havre goes up next season. Still impressed with the gentleman.

It's going to be tough for him, but he's a tough guy and I'll be rooting for him.

And he went out a winner last night. A 2-1 victory for Le Havre over Sochaux. Now it's northwest to Wales.

I hope he succeeds wildly. It can only help American soccer if he does.

4 points out of the first 7 matches good for 17th place with only 6 goals to start the season. Succeeding will be to keep that club afloat until Jan. and then looking for goal scorers in the window.

Tough go of it so far. 2 away losses (Gooners and Stoke) sandwiched by a nil-nil result at home. Doesn't get any easier with ManU and Everton in the next two, which probably means deeper in the relegation zone for the Swans. I'm sure 90% of the Swansea fanbase want him sacked already.
