Fulham are in talks to sign former Liverpool left-back Fabio Aurelio on a free transfer. The Brazilian recently failed to agree terms with Liverpool on a pay-as-you- play deal.

I would think RH would stay away from that job like it was the plague. Their, alleged, transfer budget this summer is smaller than the one he will likely be handed by MAF. Besides until those two jokers Hicks and Gillett leave, Anfield is a financial, and therefore on field, mess.

We have supposedly bought Frederick Piquaunne [sp] for 2m quid pending his physical. I thought he had some good moments for Pompey this season, but he's another striker over 30. We must be hoping for points as the oldest club in the league.

Also, Hughes and Dalglish are shorter odds than Hodgson.

I understand Dalglish to be numero uno on their wish list. I understandd Woy will leave us one day, but I really hope he picks better than Liverpool. As Jreid said, they are a mess, top to bottom, and I don't see them back in the Champions league next year. Man City will have the muscle to try to get in, and between Spurs making it (sigh), they have a lot of competition and not a very strong base to start.

Piquionne? I hope that's an internet rumor.

After Torres and Gerrard (who I thought declined a bit this past season), Liverpool doesn't have enough elite players to compete for a title. They never replaced Xabi Alonso, and that killed them. Talent-wise, they're not much better at this point than Spurs, Villa and Everton.

•Fulham will allow goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer to move to Arsenal in a £3m move and have already begun the search for a replacement.
    (News of the World)

Really? I don't see this happening.

Howdy tf894! Drop on by our "introduce yourself" section and tell us who you are, where you're from, and how you found Fulham and us. WELCOME!

And this story's been circulating around for a while. Roy's not going to do anything to our roster until the WC is over. I think that the NOTW, like everyone else, is just making stuff up to fill space.

Don't mean it won't happen, but we'll see.

If News of the World says it, then it must be true. They are my Bible and the most above the board paper in England, as well as the world.

Seriously, I just don't see it, that's a story with a long half life, apparently, and it just hasn't happened.

Also, wasn't NOTW the bottom feeder paper that caught Sarah Ferguson on tape recently?
