    I quit being optimistic.

    :(

Hopefully come Monday I will have cheered up a bit and be back on the "We are going to turn it all around! wagon. But right now, this just made me lose my appetite for lunch. and we are going to Chipotle.

Sanchez needs to be gone, he's done nothing but waste Mohamed al-Fayed money, with what he spent we should easly be in the top half not fighting in the bottom 3 this early. send him and his players that he thought so much of to spend all that cash on to were they belong championship

I have to agree that Sanchez needs to be fired. But not till the transfer window. I would love to see what Cookie Coleman would have done had he been given 40 million to spend.

I am watching the replay on Setanta right now. I can't believe that Healy missed a completely open net in the first ten minutes. Experiment over Sanchez, Northern Ireland cannot survive in the premiership.

One win from 11 games, and that was against bottom of the table team, on a deflected goal. Rubbish.

Before the Portsmouth game I was reading somewhere we could get 12 points from our next four games. What a laugh.

One more chance for Sanchez, home to rubbish Reading next week, and that's it.

Good review on today's game from Sky Sports

I am so glad I know the outcome of the game. I am watching the replay on setanta and we are in the 85th minute, were a goal up and a man up. I am sure we are going to give this game away very soon, and if I had not known in advance I might have had a heart attack.

Stokes missed an easy one. WOW, we could have lost this game.

Firing Sanchez would be stupid. People have got to understand that the Premier League wasn't going to be easy this year. The team is new, unlike most of the top-table sides (except maybe Man City).

Fulham has yet to get out played this year.

There are also loads of injuries right now.

Fulham, probably can't even afford to hire anyone remotely better... although the Turkish national coach has apparently been approached.

No we shouldn't. You need to pay attention to the rest of the league. Fulham was not top-10 material this year.

How come we cannot hold onto a lead. Is that the players or the coaching. really which to you think it comes down to. I agree that I would like to see Sanchez get a fair chance. But not at the expense of relegation. At the Jan. transfer window we need to take a serious look at where we are in the table and if we are going to survive. This team cannot take going down. We have to stay up at any cost.

No kidding, but there has to be a manager Fulham can afford to bring who will prevent relegation. Who's that?

Everyone should have known before the season started that Fulham would be in for a fight this year. The Premier League is solid across the board and things just haven't gone Fulham's way much. Take the penalty away from the Wigan game and Fulham wins, and give us the disallowed goal today and we win... and not to mention the Boro game where at the very least we get a point. So that's 7 points we're missing, that we probably could have.

After loosing and drawing so many games the feeling of winning has become a holy grail as opposed to something the team can do on any given Saturday. So they panic and the late goal goes in. Just a little slip of concentration. I hope Sanchez can figure out how to break that habit. If he can't by January it may take a new manager to get things on track to a degree.

Great balls of fire, how did Healy miss the entire open net.

I hate to say this, but this is a team that finds a way to give away games, and that is the definition of a bad team. A good team asserts themselves at the end of games. Look at the Arsenal Game, and Chelski game, and today. That's an additional 8 points the W's have left on the table. If the W's only get 5 points there... ah hell, if my aunt had nuts she'd be my uncle.

Another disappointing result. All too often this season we have had the lead and lost it in the second half. I am not sure if that is coaching or the players losing their edge or what. Regardless, it needs to stop.

The scary thing about the current scenario is that I looked at October as the easiest portion of the schedule. And we earned a whopping two points. That does not bode well.

There are some who think we will be fine based on other teams simply being worse than us. In other words they think we will back in to safety. I am not of that belief. Regardless of how other teams look, Fulham must start winning matches soon. If not, it will not matter what other teams are doing and they will surely go down.

I still have some faith that this team will not go down, but I am very nervous already and with a tough stretch of matches after next weekend's match against Reading, we will be lucky to have 15 points heading to Christmas. That is not good my friends.
