Hello from Hertfordshire(Stevenage) I was told about this site by a cousin in the US (Encinita) so I thought I'd check it out, as I have been a fan since 1955, and its so good to see all these fans from Europe and the USA.

Welcome to FUSA Owen! You have been a Fulham supporter for 51 years!! That is awesome. Any good stories you can tell us from your early days supporting the club? What was it like supporting the team in the 50's and 60's?

Thanks for welcome guys. Well roundabouts multiply here every so often, as they put in 'mini' ones now as well. Yep 51 years, First game was 3rd round FA cup, v Newcastle (Jackie Milburn & co) half time losing 3-0, went ahead 4-3 finally losing 5-4, that year was the last time the Magpies won the FA Cup. As to my Cuz, his taste in websites is better than the Club he supports, I wont mention the name, but suffice it to say they have just built a new stadium in North London. And as for Hatfield well it aint improved none thats for sure

Don't know if it is still there but there use to be a big roundabout in Heathrow airport that has 6 or so mini-roundabouts around the outside of the big one just to confuse the heck out of the tourists!!!

    "There's Big Ben kids!"

    "Yeah, we know...."

A huge welcome to you Owen. I commend you for supporting our Whites for such a long time. I love to hear from fans from across the pond, I'm a new fan and am a sponge when it comes to Fulham info.

What is/was your most memorable match as a fan? Fave player over the years?

BoasBoy:Most memorable match, thats difficult, there have been quite a few over the years. FA Cup Final 1975 even though we lost, I was there. My first game in 1955 v Newcastle, Beating Northampton away to guarentee 1st Division status. Players; Johnny Haynes, naturally. George Cohen, Tony Macedo, Jimmy Hill, Tosh Chamberlain.
Any of you guys out there can email me if you want my take on 51 years as a 'White'

Welcome Owen! I too am a new fan of Fulham. I started following the EPL last year and did lots of research to find a team to support. This site made a huge impact on me and helped secure my loyalties to the Cottagers. Hope to see you around the boards!
