Well, only scum can win a trophy and, in effect, sack the boss, who didn’t want to stay anyway. On a personal note, I hope Signor Sarri elevates his touchline sartorial game. Ick. CA448B1F-DD08-4AA7-B3D3-5FDCF78A8741.jpeg

Clearly missed this because it happened on July 4, but our neighbors to the north east hired Frank Lampard!?

He, who has one season of senior management experience and like two(?) years of coaching licensing under his belt?

Pretty sure the Books have stopped taking bets on Pochettino getting the sack after that 7-2 mass destruction at home to Bayern. Tottenham fans have always thought more of themselves then their real results, and a top notch gaffer is on thin ice.

After more pedestrian work by Man U and Tottenham, you'd expect some heads to roll soon. United have the same record that got The Special One sacked, and Spurs looked woeful.

So, what is the over/under on The Not So Special One’s length of tenure in North London?

I say he gets to the end of this season and starts next season but doesn't finish. The good news about this job though is that he won't have to live in a hotel like he did in Manchester.

Staying up 5 straight seasons is, under their circumstances, a significant accomplishment.

When Watford fires a manager, do they play Goodbye Yellow Brick Road or something like that?

He has a 1.5/2 season half life before things get toxic, so you may be right. Regardless he's not at Tottenham by this time in 2021.

Don't know how many of you remember Duncan Ferguson, but he was a major league badass in the 9 shirt. You don't see strikers mandandling CBs much these days, bur Ferguson was even scarier than Mak Hughes in that capacity.
