    @jumpkutz, Where was our intrepid Triple Crown correspondent?? While nothing will beat the call of Secretariat 'He's moving like a tremendous machine' 45 years later and no horse has even come close to his record, the track announcer today was pretty great w/'he's just perfect and now he's just immortal' as Justify became the 13th Triple Crown winner.

    I've been remiss...and a little busy at work this week. Larry Collmus is very, very good. For some reason, I just didn't get as excited about this horse, but I should be. He's every bit the champion Pharaoh was. A well deserved Triple Crown winner. I thought a late closer might catch him over a mile and a half, but no one came. Hope the owners race him a few more times this year before he retires to a bluegrass covered field somewhere near AP.
