We're getting close to the third round when Fulham will be involved.

While watching Borussia v. Borussia this morning, I was monitoring The Cup and was a bit disturbed to see that Luton Town were down to Solihull Moor ????? -- a team I never heard of -- by two goals AT LUTON. It wound up 6-2 for the Hatters, but still.

Love the FA Cup; I'd especially like to live long enough to see a good FA Cup run for Fulham.

Was kind of wondering when that was gonna start. We need to run out some of the people that deserve some pitch time.

Away vs. Cardiff City. Should be a W.

Would love for the underdog story to be Fulham one of these days.

I figured that you'd like that HD. Unfortunately they won't be continuing the giant slaying this year after their defeat to fellow League 2 side Accrington Stanley today.

An exciting finish for Lincoln City (1st place in National League - 5th tier) vs Ipswich Town:

There is still one team even lower than Lincoln still in it: Sutton United (15th place in the National League) who defeated 10-man AFC Wimbledon today

Who didn't want League 2 Wycombe to take down Tottenham?! Unfortunately they were done in by an own goal in the 7th minute of 6 minutes of injury time.

Meanwhile National League teams Sutton AND Lincoln both advance to the next round with wins over Leeds and Brighton respectively.

Love watching the BIG upsets and the matches at the smaller grounds around the country. Wish they would do one at Valley Parade. Sutton United and Lincoln City are throwbacks...you could almost do them in black and white and get the full effect. Acquired a new friend from our Wembley Stadium tour two years ago (almost three) who is a Wycombe supporter. He was one of our two guides, a young man who's now back home in Melbourne. Sent him the proverbial gutted for you facebook post. They had 'em.

Ooh, Spuds! Delicious! I smell a scalp! And just for grins, I checked airfare to London for the weekend of 27 May. Hey, you never know! COYW!

Hmmm...I'm not a conspiracy theorist by trade, but I always find a 'draw' like this interesting. 8 Premier teams, 8 from lower divisions. Not a single all-Prem matchup...how convienent. o_O

SCJ, and Mr. Sepp Blatter was a legitimate businessman. And the FA has a thorough process for vetting potential conflicts.
    d'oh

That said, good for the Whites to reach the round of 16 - Spurs are looking to Europe next year, and possibly chasing down Chelsea, get in there Fulham and knock out Spurs.

Did anyone else watch it live? The FA streamed it on their YouTube channel. They go through extraordinary lengths to avoid any impropriety. And if they are rigging it then they are very, very good at it. It will be fun to watch Arsenal play on Sutton's lowly artificial turf field.

I watched part of it live. You can rig pretty much anything, although it didn't appear to be. I just like our cup side's swagger. They're just the right amount of experience and youthful audaciousness. Outside of Martin, they seem to be a group of happy campers. And even Martin's not mailing it in, to his credit. They're kind of like Cortez's men when he reached the New World, then burned his ships. They're well motivated in that, as long as they keep playing well and winning, they get to keep PLAYING.

Don't know what this means for us in the States, but it's being televised somewhere, so we should be able to watch it....theoretically.
