Well, we didn't have to start in the middle of the summer like we did last season when Leicester booted Nigel Pearson for team hanky panky in Thailand. The aftermath worked out pretty well I'd say. When we left last season's sacking pool, ManUre had finally sacked Louis Van Gal.
So who will be first? Sunderland hired David Moyes today. Because he's still s loon, I predict Abramovich will sack Conte if scum don't start well.

You're never going to go broke betting on the inherent craziness of Roman A. and the Asshat that owns Newcastle.

What I REALLY want, is for Joka to still be our manager next year at this time.

I'd say the early leaders in the clubhouse in the Premiership are Alan Pardew and Tony Pulis. The former is currently in a very poor run of form at Palace since January (2 wins, 12 losses, 5 draws), and lost the home opener to...Pulis's West Brom side. He's bitching about transfer funds AFTER THEIR FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON, so you know what that means...a soon to follow departure (the club is "stagnant," don't ya'' know). Anyway, Pardew better reverse the trend soon, and WBA's new Chinese owners better loosen the purse strings, or Pulis will walk.

Got a feeling David Moyes may be next. Sunderland awful today against Stoke at home. And Mike Phelan's been replaced by Marco Silva at Hull.

Yesterdays success buys you very little leverage in the world of promotion and relegation.

True, but every man on that squad should be ashamed for their performance this season. I don't care what the reasons are, you can't just come back from something like last season and mail it in like they have. They should not be in danger of relegation, period. People are gonna say it was a fluke, but no way with a season as long as these are. It's a marathon that they never waivered in. Ranieri's players let him down, big time. There's also a school of thought that he deserved to stay whether they are relegated or not. I think he more than earned the opportunity to turn it back around. But the culture today is to push the panic button and make the easisest change available. Very cowardly, in my opinion. Signor Claudio will be out of work for about a relative minute.

Soccer is like every other professional sport in that you can't fire the players so if you need a boost the manager will be the first to exit. It may not be fair but it is none-the-less.

I think their goals for this season was to advance to the knockout stage in the Champions League and finish top 10. At the halfway point they were right on schedule in the CL and an acceptable mid-table in the league. They've been in a tailspin and sinking like a stone since the turn of the calendar. I hadn't seen them play a full game since Oct/Nov until the CL match w/Sevilla (only a 2-1 away t0 defeat thanks to Casper Schmiechel standing on his head for 90 minutes), something struck me immediately. They looked a step or two slower. The Foxes were so fast and relentless that it was fantastic to watch. A couple of factors; they didn't say no to the 32 million Chelscum paid for N'Golo Kante, and do they ever miss him. Jump, you mentioned the season is a marathon, the energy they expended to achieve what they did, seems to have zapped them mentally & physically. The CB duo of Morgan & Huth are both closer to 35 than 30. Finally Vardy & Mahrez, two of the best players in the Prem last year are arguably the two biggest disappointments this term, looking at their stats and it's mind-blowing the dropoff they've had.

The television money is so huge the panic button always seems to be flashing to these boards. Claudio deserved better, and looking at their fixture list should've been given the next 2 matches at least (both at home to Liverpool & Hull) if not the next 4 (after those 2 they were away to Arsenal then the home match w/Sevilla with a legit chance to advance).

Leciester beats Liverpool 3-1 w/a guy named Shakespeare as the interim.

McClaren out at Derby. Wonder where this leaves Mr. Chrissy.
