Jump posted a great goal by Fabian last summer on the 'call ups' thread, here is a more recent one from FJ. He became the second American to score more than 1 goal in a Champion's League season (Da Beas had 3 back in 04-05)

and, in England, Cameron looked solid for about 75 minutes of today's match at center mid. He flopped around a bit towards the end, but he was instrumental in Man City's frustration all day. In London, Yedlin was shakey at first against Arsenal, but finished strong. He's not at strong defensively as when on attack, but Big Sam had him leading the line in the last five minutes.

We seem to have a lot of attackers masquerading as defenders...

we're hosting an exchange student from Germany and her dad's team is Gladbach. So, given me plenty of reason to follow Fabian Johnson on a more consistent basis. Right now, he's having a great season and saw a goal against Bayern this past weekend.

With their spot in the Champions League knockout stage secured, Bayern starting Julian Green today against Dinamo Zagreb. We'll see how the kid does.

Ugh for the plights of Brad Guzan and Tim Howard. Both sets of fans are done with the both of them. They made the cardinal sin of letting their team's own supporters get to them and react back towards the crowd. Guzan has lost his gig on the sinking ship that is Villa, and Howard came through in the nick of time with his best performance of the season in a 0-0 draw at Citeh. If it wasn't for Roberto Martinez's loyalty Timmy would have been on the pine already. Now it appears Colorado are making a push for Howard's services; http://www.espnfc.us/story/2787394/colorado-rapids-want-to-bring-tim-howard-to-mls-sources

I think the toffee's fans wanting Howard to leave is more wishful thinking than anything. He's still a top-flight GK. Yes, he's given up more goals than usual this season, but I expect that to curtail when Jagielka gets back in the lineup. Everton are massively entertaining. They're doing more 3-3s than 0-0s, and I'm in favor of that.

Howard will pull a Keller and hit MLS, in my opinion. It's just that the timing may not be right, but if he comes to MLS with PL top-half keeper skills intact, he could change an MLS club immediately...for the good.
