The atmosphere will be crackling (sucks it's on Friday!) as these two neighbors get together at Griffin Park. The Bees have been the surprise so far of the Championship as they are sitting 6th. Their GD is only a +1, but where they have shone is on the road, as they have won as many matches as they have at home (4 wins). The tiny ground they call home (12,300) might be small, but it will be mighty for both teams as Fulham will bring approximately 3,000 the 6 miles from the CC to Brentford. Have to think this match will have plenty of ebbs and flows, and here's hoping that our suspect backline tightens up. Will go with a 2-2 final in a thrilling derby.

beINsport connect tv will be showing this live. KO is 2:30 Central. It's not going to be on their regular channel.

I'll be in the chatroom and watching it on Internet TV, but will have to miss the last 30 minutes or so as I'm heading off to oil country for a gig.

If we can beat these guys with Felix Magath in charge, we should have no trouble with Kit Symons calling the shots, right? If only it were that simple. It's not, and I have no idea what to expect from either side. So I'll just go with 3-2 good guys and hope we don't let in a bunch like we seem wont to do on the road this season.

Here's the lineup. It appears that Kt has found his "best XI."

    40 Bettinelli; 13 Zverotic, 06 Bodurov, 33 Burn, 03 Stafylidis; 08 Parker. 21 Christensen,
    27 Williams; 10 Ruiz; 44 McCormack,20 Rodallega
    Substitutes
    01 Kiraly, 04 Hutchinson, 07 Eisfeld, 14 Roberts, 16 Woodrow, 25 Dembele, 28 Hyndman

I won't be in the chatroom, but y'all have a good match.

Terrible performance (going by GJ's commentary), but after Bettinelli kept saving our bacon we actually got our noses in front in the 57th. Fulhamish finish with sloppy defense for the equalizer in the 81st and an OG by Burn in the 90th to give Brentford the 3 points.

Have another away match next week at Brighton and the lads at some point need to win on the road or we can forget about even getting into the playoff race.

There's no or (but i won't argue about the amount of poo) about it. We can forget about getting into the playoff race. Course I could have told you that b4 this match.

this just in: we're not going undefeated for the rest of the season -- the amazing thing to me is that we almost got a draw against a very good team despite being totally outplayed.

Well, bugger. I'm not ready to write off our promotion/playoff chances yet, but this certainly doesn't help. Betts very easily could have single handedly gotten us an undeserved point, or even three, here. A hot keeper or striker seems to be capable of doing that in this game. Still, back to the drawing board time for Mr. Symons. Changes, anyone? And what should we be looking at doing in the January transfer window? Really like what I'm seeing from young Marcus, though.
