It was only a matter of time after the last match.

This is good. Perhaps now we can begin to heal and put the past couple of seasons behind us. I am praying (yes, praying) that Mr. Symons has huge, unimaginable success as the PERMANENT First Team Manager of Fulham Football Club. He's already done miracles compared to his three immediate predecessors, and I hope he leads us to heights we've only imagined in the past. I'm more optimistic now than I've ever been in the short time I've been a supporter of the club. Godspeed, Christopher Jeremiah Symons! We'll see you at WEMBLEY!

Is Shad wearing a ponytail or a fresh haircut?

Great for fans that the drama is over. Wouldn't it be great if the improvement continued on the same pace! It wont, and I'm hearkening back to Chris Coleman's days.
OTOH, there's no way it could go back to as bad as before he took over.
I do notice the fact once it arrived is almost an anti-climax.
    Cheers, Gang!

Ponytail, you can see it in the first few seconds of the presser. Is it me or does Khan look like the artist Leroy Nieman?

The greatest thing about Kit's run is that he's doing it all with Magath's men. Though Magath shot himself in the foot by leaving some of his most talented guys out of the lineup. Kit is making the best with what he was given. I wish more football managers would take this approach, instead of ditching everyone and bringing in "their" guys. It's weird that they have such long term plans for a position that is generally very short lived.
