Loved the US women's first goal celebration - cartwheels. I have to assume they were in honor of the USA women's gymnastic team. Very nice. :flags-usa:

Dibaba is a beast!!! My hats off to her...wow. Sprinting the whole last lap. :bow-yellow:

Glad to see Sally Kipyego get the silver, a very good ambassador to the sport of running.

It was a joy to watch her run. That's what the olympics is all about if you ask me, witnessing that level of sporting greatness. :bow-yellow: :bow-yellow: :bow-yellow:

The best olympic moment for me thus far. So happy Mo and Galen came in one and two, Alberto Salazar was one of my favorite runners back in the day.

Would love to run that Women's marathon course, absolutely beautiful. Kenyans are still winless in the marathon, losing out to their Ethiopian rivals once again in this Olympics. Little disappointed with the US runners, but it sure wasn't for the lack of trying on their part for sure. They gave everything they had. Just figured they would be better prepared for those tough surges, as it always happens in a marathon race. Maybe just an off day? Oh well.

US women play canada today in the semis. The Canadian coach says the US players use "highly illegal" tactics and he is going to try to raise awareness of this with the officials. yeah good luck to you too Canada. What a twerp for saying that.

Ugh, down 1 - 0 at the half. I dont have a good feeling. US have just seemed flat the last few games. I fear they peaked a bit too early. I hope I'm wrong, though. Come On USA, summon the mojo! :flags-waveusa: :flags-waveusa: :flags-waveusa:

Now 2-2. Great game for a neutral. Have a bad feeling the final result will not go the US way though. Canada just seems to be better going forward.
