A four year old article on the late, great Andrew Samuel Griffith. And a bonus feature, a list of the shows the won the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series during "The Andy Griffith Show"s run on CBS. We lost an American giant today.

First thing he's noted for, 1953. Some of us were embarrassed by the 'hick' aspect.. but we laughed anyway.

If the images look like something from Mad Magazine, there's a reason.
