Sadly, it will not be Dempsey getting a hat trick. We perhaps saw his last game in Whites shirt last weekend. He is out injured.

Oh and DEMPSEYS NOT PLAYING!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!

I believe that's the case, but it can be confusing at times. Chelsea is going to finish 6th, but if the Undead win the CL Final they will automatically qualify again, which mean they would bump the team that finishes 4th to Europa. No Demps = No Chance :angry-banghead:

I'm not sure if Englad is getting a 3rd spot in the Europa League this year. According to the Fox Survival Sunday page is show England having 4 CL slots for places 1-4, (though I know that can change depending on what Chelski does), but only 2 Europa League slots for places 5 and 6. Wish I know how that worked.

Although Fulham is way up near the top in the "good boy" standings this season, England is NOT. Therefore, there won't be an additional slot for that.

We do have 5th, 6th, Carling Cup winners, and FA Cup winner/loser who can be invited.

The FA Cup final loser goes if the winner already qualifies for the CL. Of course, this season, the FAC loser is the Carling Cup winner. If Chesea win the Europa League then they will go along with

League winners
League runners-up
Third place team [who must enter the qualifying rounds]

Europa League will then get

4th
5th
6th
Liverpool [unless they're 6th]

If Chelsea does NOT win the CL [please god, make it so], the CL teams will be

1st
2nd
3rd
4th [who must enter the qualifying rounds]

Europa League will get

Chelsea [FA Cup]
Liverpool [Carling Cup]
5th & 6th [unless Liverpool or Chelsea finish here]

I don't think there's any possibility of being more than four English teams in the Europa League. THAT'S WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT TO WIN A DOMESTIC CUP!

Whether or not you can attribute it to the extra matches, I don't know, but our form definitely improved dramatically after we were bounched this season.

I wouldn't mind a complete season where we can devote all our focus to the league and domestic cups. Personnel issues aside, I'm anxious to see what Jol and co can achieve.

I've taken a look at the schedule for Sunday, and it occurs to me that I can watch the entire first half before I head off for church. I've got the match DVR'd so it'll still be there after I

a. get back from church
b. hang out with my mother-in-law for Mothers Day [doing grill sgt duties]

So, instead of WATCHING the first half, I'm going to listen to GJ [for the last time this season], and hang out in the chatroom.

Hope to "see" many of you there.

I'm pumped! However i'm not going to get to watch the game live due to my daughter's baptism. Hopefully we can find the back of the net on the road.

It's been a loooooong season but I still can't believe it's already coming to an end. Hope to grab 3 more points to end this season on a high note! Not an easy task against Spurs though. Thrilled it'll be on TV too!

Really disappointed to see Dempsey out and I'm crossing by fingers that last week wasnt the last time to see him in a Fulham uniform.

What a great way to celebrate Mother's Day. Enjoy it, our daughter went to her senior prom tonight and it doesn't seem that long ago we were having her baptized.

The match; Spurs will come out in full attack in order to try and put pressure on Arsenal who is playing at West Brom. Love the last match day w/all the games starting at the same time.

Sorry kids, I ain't buying Deuce's "injury." It doesn't pass the smell test. Groin? Abductor? When? Where? How?

Nope.

The question is "why."

Why?

Not sure I understand the question your "Why" question. Why now? or Why do players get injured?

I never buy into conspiracy theories. They need so much faith and facts out context to make them fit a narrative it makes my head hurt. If Fulham are going to sell both Dembele and Demps...wouldn't they both be out? Or is this a sign they're only selling Demps if Dembele plays? Starting to get headache already with all the what if scenarios.

My take is he probably has some kind of injury that happened in training and the timing is unfortunate. Reports are always sketchy in the media, reporters hardly get all the facts right as stories develop...nothing new. We'll know the what the story is in a few days on how serious his injury is and whether he plays for the US in qualifiers.

Hope to see you all in the chat soon. COYWs!!!

Sadly we didn't look like we're going to get anything from the very 1st minutes. But we had another good run late in season to put Fulham in the top half of the table. Now we're moving on to the summer transfer season, hoping we can keep hold of our better players and add some more quality. Hope to see everyone on the board this summer for Fulham transfer moves and USMNT debates.

P.S. Don't forgot there are FUSA shirts for sale in the homepage store. :)

No Deuce, no goals. Simple math.

Still, a VERY successful season, considering our third manager in as many years. And with the Academy Champs, the future looks bright indeed.

Going to be an interesting off season, for sure. Time to find out if we've gained any ground on the rest of the planet.
