Really sad he was unable to make the Rock in Roll HOF induction in April. Only 47 years old, cancer claims another. RIP MCA

Rich Aurelia (SF Giants former shortstop) used that as his walk-up to bat music. Nice memory, SCJ.

We grew up on the same block. I had no use for him, not only because he was a couple years younger than I, but also because I thought him a twerp. Ah, well, I am sad for his parents.

A fondly remembered clip from the muppet show, my memory sparked for it after I heard Buffalo Springfield's "Bluebird" today...

Nice one Nev, but it's missing Kermit's sweet, sincere voice.

Kermit's Rainbow Connection puts a smile on my face...to this day. Nicely done, DCH.

I was listening to some Hendrix, my favorite guitarist, and Fortunate Son was on the video list. Great song.

Muppet videos are ALWAYS great!

Here's my contribution, Sammy Davis Jr.:

Yes, I really do have a place on the East Side and am actually moving there (one day soon!!!) from Queens, just like the Jeffersons.

Clevelandmo wrote:Heather that is so funny that you posted the pixies. Right before you I was either going to post the Pixies or Poi Dog Pondering and I chose the later. The acoustic version you posted are nice!

Two more Pixie choices, but I think Here Comes Your Man is my fav.

This one is kind of messed up but I love the music

Can't believe I missed your love of the Pixies. A huge band in my life. Here we go:

A deluxe apartment in the sky? Nice job, RDG. And one of the best TV intros ever.
