Credit due to LA, but I throw up in my mouth that they are going to hoist the Cup before the Sharks. Come on Devils!

Season's over. Quick wins Conn Smythe and, of course, the Kings win the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history. Congrats to them and their fans.

Not sure what to say here. I attended my first Kings game the week before my 8th birthday. Nothing sweeter than this.

Congrats to the Kings. Just wish Carter didn't get the Cup. :snooty:

Wound up watching Game 6 at a BWW here in San Antonio with a good friend who has been a Kings fan since he was a kid (little over 20 yrs). There were 3 other groups of Kings fans that turned up, so with the crowd and the way LA won that game, we had quite the party. For my money, the NHL has the best trophy and championship celebration of any sport. I only hope to see my Caps raise it one of these days. My wait is at 35 years and counting.

It's been a pretty special couple of days. I'm still in the "Did that really happen?" phase. For long suffering fans of any team in any sport, all I can say is hold on; trust me, it's worth it.

Thanks for the kind words all around.
