Good to hear he wants a permanent deal. Will Stuttgart want him back now that he's scoring goals?

He is a free agent come summer, unless he signs a deal w/fulham. Stuttgart could care less where he signs since he didn't do much for them when he was there.

I am sure he will get offer from a few English clubs. But I see him staying at Fulham. We took the chance on him.

That's good news, would love to keep him around a little while longer.

I really like him. I think it's essential we sign him since Dempsey will probably be gone come summer.

I think it was mentioned in another thread...possibly the summer transfer list, he seems to be dragging his feet in signing a contract. Possibly because he might get some more, better offers if he shows well in Euros.

But Reading is hoping to snatch him up.

Although this article says different, that he would like a team before the tournament begins (in case there's an injuyry).

After we gave Pavel Pogrebnyak his chance in English football it looks like, if the tabloid press are right, the Russian is going to do the dirty on us.

Reports are filtering through that Pavel looks set to sign for newly promoted Reading, signing up for a club that has a Russian owner in Anton Zingarevich.

It seems money might be talking on this one and if it is, although the loss will be hard to bare, we`ve got to agree with our club for taking a stance on this one.

Sounds like he might be off to Reading. But there is nothing official anywhere yet.

As long as we bring in 3 new strikers, I'm not all that upset by this. I'd be fine with him staying, but hope that if he does he'll be an option off the bench and we bring in a first choice striker.

This is bad news. We have no recognized forwards if this happens. Everybody here knows that we might bring in two forwards and keep Dempsey up top, but that's only if he stays. If he leaves, we are truly screwed. We have had alot of goals leave so far and possibly even more leaving with Dempsey. Hopefully Mo gives Jol the funds to find us a couple of first choice forwards that can actually score.

It looks like it's going to happen. Well, we're really going to need to go shopping in the forward department. Hopefully, there's some discounts in that aisle.

Really shocked and a bit angry with this move. Sky picking it up means it has a real legs.

Agree with Matt, wanted him to stay, but not overly bummed out he's leaving. Reading waaayyyy overspent (4 years at 45K a week??), and I think the new Russian owner was sold a bill of goods by Pog's agent. As for Pog, good for him and his family, and probably beyond his wildest dreams around the holidays last winter.
