Last I heard was a deal was imminent for Pog, but that was about 2 weeks ago. I haven't seen anything official announced on the Fulham site.

Dembele looks certain to leave for a Champions League team. It will be interesting to see what happens with Dempsey. My guess we'll most likely know more after the International duty is over in June.

With Pavel set to star in the Euro 2012 Finals, a deal for his services has yet to be concluded.

However, we believe that the final piece of the jigsaw that will see the Russian stay at Craven Cottage next season will be done shortly.

In fact, the grapevine infers that the deal could be done before the Euro`s kick off this Friday.

So I read that Pog is going to resign and that Dembele is not taking the contract offered to him. Does this mean we are more likely to lose Dempsey, or can Jol conveince him that Fulham can make a run this year at a possible Champions berth soon. And what does everyone think of Rhodes is he really worth the 8 mil I read teu want for him. And what transfer targets are realistic for fulham and the financies Jol has?

I think we will lose Dempsey, but possibly keep Dembele. That's not so bad as we might already have a replacement in Ruiz if he can learn how to play in this league. If he does, he can be better than Dempsey.

As for who we can target, we need a winger, a forward and a RB. I believe we can get three quality players with our finances. Obviously, we aren't signing anybody for over £10m, but there's plenty of players out there for much cheaper. I wouldn't be mad if we signed Nacer Chadli, Jermaine Defoe and Nathaniel Clyne. Do that and keep Dembele and we can make a run next year. I wouldn't sign Rhodes for anywhere near that.

The Cottagers boss is on the hunt for a replacement for Andrew Johnson following his release and has been impressed with Robinson's form for the Rams in the Championship.
The 23-year-old scored 12 goals last season and he has been linked with several Premier League clubs, including Fulham and Wigan.
Robinson is rated in the £1.5million bracket and it's thought an offer in that region would be enough to secure his services, although Jol would face competition from around the top flight.
Robinson still has a year left on his Rams contract and is wanted by Wigan as a possible replacement for Hugo Rodallega, who has also been released this summer.

I'd take Robinson over re-signing AJ. Imo, he's one of the better young striker prospects in the lower leagues and well worth a shot at 1.5M. I wouldn't expect much of a contribution from him immediately, rather view the signing more in the vein of Frei, Kasami, Gecov, Sa, etc. He's a buy for the future and in all likelihood spends most of his first year or two in the Rezzies or out on loan.

Wigan hoping he'd replace Rodallega now sounds like a bit of a reach. Then again, they do play Conor Sammon up front at times.

Apparently we can't agree to terms with Pogrebnyak. The club can't be cheap here. If we lose him and Dempsey, after already released AJ, that would mean we would have exactly zero forwards worth a shit in the squad. Sign him and then get another forward in here to play up top with him.
