There is a big 'if' w/Berbatov; if he would be willing to take a pay cut (not sure what his wages are, but probably signficantly more than what Fulham wants to pay a 31 year old striker). If they can reach a salary that would be amiable, the this isn't out of the realm of possibility. Berbatov realized his dream of playing at the highest level in the sport, and was incredibly productive for ManUre (49 goals in 108 appearances), then had to suffer the indignity of riding the pine. He's been there, done that, and might be at the stage in his career where playing time is a helluva lot more important than being on the biggest team possible. Throw in Jol being the manager who brought him in to Spurs and this rumor isn't without legs.
