No to Cameron Jerome. That guy sucks. Much rather have Trotta get a shot if that's the best we could do.

I still don't think anyone has fully tapped Jerome's potential yet. If the fee is fairly cheap, why not? It's not like we have any other proven strikers laying around. I wouldn't want him to be the only signing at that position if we did take him on though.

No thanks to Jay. So far I'm not liking the players we're being linked with. We need a proven goalscorer, not somebody who could possibly do it. We have plenty of players in our reserve team who could do that.

Yeah, I don't put up all the rumors because some are just too unbelievable. Dempsey to Everton for 4 million pounds? I'm with Justin in LMAO.

So Talksport did a thing on free transfers and there were some interesting names on the list. Among them was Nathaniel Clyne and Ivica Olic. We need a RB and Clyne would solve our problems for years and we need a forward and Olic would put in 10+ goals and be a decent forward along with Pogrebnyak.

Really, we could be set without having to spend any transfer money and have a team capable of a top 7 finish. If we are a bit ambitious then that would be possible.

It appears there are others interested in Clyne:

I'm sure there are others too, besides Reading.
